Dear student
A warm welcome to RUC! My name is Celina Lunøe, and I am the chairperson of the Student Council. First of all, congratulations on becoming a student at our university. You are now entering a new period of your life filled with many new people, experiences, opportunities, and an extremely rewarding academic learning journey.
As a student at RUC, you become part of a very special community, where we are not only here to study, but also to help shape our university and student life. It can, however, be a bit of a jungle to find your way when you are new, and that is precisely why we have created the Student handbook.
I hope the handbook will be a good companion for you during your time at RUC. Here you can find information about your rights as a student, your study life, and the many opportunities available to you as a student. But most importantly, I hope it will help you feel a little more at home at Roskilde university and give you the courage to get involved with the community you have now become part of.
